Read the Terms and Conditions of the Contract carefully. Long term contracts may offer a cheaper price on the device or lower rates for the package but this will limit you to change your plan or service provider and the cost of terminating the contract before the commitment period may be very expensive. When upgrading or adding a new feature to your package always ask your service provider and ensure that you understand the terms and conditions of that service as it may get you in long term commitment. Check the coverage in your area before committing yourself with any long term contract.
