The information supplied in this application form must be correct at the time of making the application. Should your information change, it is your responsibility to inform the TRA of the new details by formal letter.
You will be deemed by the Authority to be the holder of the relevant license(s), unless the Authority notifies you that the application has been rejected within fourteen (14) days of the date of the application.
Should the TRA become aware that the information provided in an application is either incorrect or inaccurate at any time, your application and license may not be valid. Your use of frequency spectrum would then be without a license and you could be subject to legal action.
With exception to those bodies referred to in the second article of legislative decree no. 48 of 2002 promulgating the telecommunications law, all persons who use 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz spectrum, including individuals, government or public organizations, companies or partnerships, require a frequency license, whether the usage of frequency is for private use or for the provision of a public telecommunications service. (Section 43 of the Telecommunications Law)
Per Article 2.2 of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Frequency Licensing Regulation, Regulation [1] of 2006, this application will be deemed by the TRA to be a written application within the meaning of section 44 of the Telecommunications Law, for this license application only.
Provision of a public telecommunications service or network without appropriate licensing is a breach of section 24 of the Telecommunications Law and may be punishable by criminal sanction, which may include substantial fines and/or imprisonment. Applicants are hereby notified that if their use of a frequency granted under this license is for the purposes of provision of such a public network or service, they must also hold all necessary licenses from the TRA.
If you are using these frequencies for private use only (including the provision of a wireless network within an office environment or the provision of wireless services within your own home), then you are not required to hold a telecommunications license other than this one.
