Kindly note that the TRA has granted an extension to the deadline for submitting responses to the consultation paper.
 

1. On 12 August 2024, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain (the “Authority”) published a Consultation Paper (Ref: LAD 0824 044) (the “Consultation Paper”) regarding BNET’s proposal to amend its Reference Offer by introducing a new service “Closed Bitstream Service” and upgrading the existing WBS Essential and WBS Advanced bandwidths. The Authority stated that the consultation period would run until 11 September 2024.
2. Following a request from a stakeholder for an extension to the deadline, the Authority has agreed to extend the deadline for receipt of submissions to the Consultation Paper by one (1) week.
3. Responses to the Consultation Paper are now due on or before 16:00 on 18 September 2024.
